Legislative Oversight and Governmental Activities

Our LOGA practice group entails engaging with legislators at the state level in an attempt to influence laws and policies in education. We have served the Lagos state government as facilitators and through social enterprise initiatives for young adults and university students in their penultimate and final year, providing trainings on soft skills required to successfully navigate the workforce at entry levels and startup business training on writing business plans and sales pitch.

Our services shall also extend to proposing and tracking bills bordering on spousal and child maintenance, inheritance rights of adopted children, civil partnership, surrogacy and issues relevant to foster adoptive legal provisions relating to marriage to produce a status that will amount to ‘marriage in all but name’. The intention is geared towards creating legal structures in areas of family law that have since emerged as contemporary realities in the Nigerian society.

We will also write publications and engage thought leadership conversations in legal fora and within civil organised groups.
